McCauley Mountain
New York’s best family mountain, McCauley offers something for everyone. In summer, ride the chairlift to the summit and take in the beautiful views of Gray Lake. In winter, enjoy top-notch downhill and cross-country skiing, plus snowboarding for all ages and abilities..

Outdoor Recreation

Snowmobiling
Old Forge is justifiably proud of its hundreds of miles of pristine, groomed snowmobile trails. Every winter, the Snowmobile Capital of the East lives up to its name, welcoming riders with miles of beautiful trails, spectacular scenery and exactly what snowmobilers crave: a great place to ride.

Activities & Programs
The Town of Webb Recreation Department works to plan and schedule many different activities to keep visitors and residents on the move. Pickle Ball, Pilates, basketball, the town beach and open walking at the Park Ave gym all offer ways to keep active no matter what time of year.

Old Forge Library
The Old Forge Library is much more than a place to borrow a book, it’s a welcoming gathering place at the heart of the community. Year-round programs bring people together for craft nights, live music in the gazebo, and a variety of activities for all ages.

Town of Webb Historical Association
The Goodsell Museum features six rooms of continually changing exhibits, artifacts, photographs and memorabilia of early life in the Adirondacks. Genealogy research material is available. Open Tuesday-Saturday, no admission.

The Wild Center
Tupper Lake
The Center is an 81-acre all day experience. In 2015 it opened the Wild Walk, a 1,000 foot long series of bridges and platforms that take visitors over the forest of the Adirondacks.
